Jasper Hills Golf Club, previously named Sebastian Hills Golf Club, is a Public 18 hole golf course located in Xenia, Ohio, just east of Dayton.
The course first opened for play in May 2001gmaixx. The course architect was Steve Burns.
The course has a mixture of styles throughout its design. The lush, rolling fairways are generally tree-lined, but there are five, treeless, links-style holes as well. The greens are generous, and water comes into play on several holes in the form of five lakes and several streams. Additional hazards include a gorge that must be carried twice and 65 strategically placed bunkers.
Jasper Hills plays from 4,718 to 6,646-yards and there are four sets of tees to challenge all skill levels.
Sebastian Hills closed at the end of the 2017 season. It was listed for sale in 2018. A sale was finalized in late August of 2021. In stepped residents of the area with a dream and a vision for the property to reopen and come back even better! The course is scheduled to reopen Memorial day 2022.

The course layout is interesting, with a few holes that are different that most courses. The only problems I had with the course was the condition of the fairways and greens (and bunkers). The fairways are not bentgrass and seem to be just a mixture of grasses. Considering the weather (it's been a draught for several months) they were in decent shape for the type of grass. Also, the rough basically is identical in the type of grass and even the length - the only difference is the grass is fairway was in a little better shape. The greens were not horrible, but all seemed to have way too many spike marks around the hole, making me wonder if the do not move the holes very often. Overall the course was a good price with a variety of types of holes and presents a decent challenge. If they put in bentgrass fairways and took better care of the grees this would be a nice course.
